RescueTime is a Must to Increase Your Photographic Productivity

rescuetime-logoTo a photographer, time definitely can equate to money. The more time you’re sitting at your desk the less time you have for doing what you get paid to do: capture images!

A while back, I was searching for a solution that would help me monitor my computer activities so that I could hunt down and lessen (or eliminate altogether) any time sinks that were draining away my productivity (in this case, my shoot time). I remembered a productivity tool called RescueTime I used with some success and decided to see if it still existed; fortunately, it does! It’s a cloud (online) based time management tool that keeps track of what you do and where you go on your computer.

It offers both free and fee based options that help you monitor and – if you use the fee based version – allows you to create goals for you and/or your staff to be more productive.
