I hadn’t added anything new to my gear in a while and decided to pick up a OCF (Off Camera Flash) and battery grip for my recently acquired Canon 40D.

So I took Dee out for a test spin today – for an assignment for my class at AIPOD actually – and man does she have it going on! Love the improved tonal range over the XTi as well as the ease with which I can access/change settings. It’s night and day between these two cameras. Anywho… Here are a few of the shots I did for class; if you enjoy them please share by using any of the sharing options and feel free to chime in if you’re a 40D user.

I’ve been shooting with a Canon XTi for a little over half a year now. While I still love my “Tia” as I call her I couldn’t pass up a sweet deal to purchase “Dee”, my new Canon 40D! Yep, camera swag in the building! .. What? You don’t give your cameras a name? 😉
