Ch’Relle and Color Symbolism

Ch’Relle is my granddaughter…and a ham. She lives about four hours away from us in Chicago but when she visits for the summer she always wants me to take photos of her – and I’m more than happy to oblige. 🙂

This particular image was part of a set I turned in for my photo design class on symbolic use of color. What’s funny is the colors of her dress matching the colors of the balloons I picked out was complete coincidence! In any case, I picked the blue and white colors to symbolize tranquility and purity. The green of the trees was, in my opinion, a symbol of protection and growth.

It was a completely random shot but I love how everything came together.
